Black sketchbook

is made from 180gsm paper suitable for various art forms. These sketchbooks are available in various sizes, starting from small black books to A5 black books/ square black books. Multiple sizes suit every requirement in terms of price and usage convenience. Books are hardbound, which makes them last longer.  We have used light but superior quality cardboard because which weight of the books allows easy carry and less shipping weight.

Historically, white has been the base of all sketchbooks, and we thought let’s experiment with paper and try making Black paper sketchbooks. We observed and learned that black paper actually allows you to explore your creativity in terms of understanding color usage as you have to study light and shadow in a more detailed manner while making portraits on black paper; you have to use colors accordingly while doing gouache painting / acrylic painting, etc. A black drawing book saves your time in creating a background color.

Working on a black drawing book would be easy if you use light pencils as it will be easy to erase lines when needed.
