These loose sheets are the most economical and good quality 100% cotton papers that you can find in the Indian market. I basically loved their way of handling orders, from being very supportive when I had trouble in ordering, to promptly giving the tracking information and the packaging, I must say it is excellent. They take so much care to actually ensure that the package reaches us undamaged (I live in South India, it is indeed pretty long distance and the papers came in safe and undamaged). I have used these papers for quite a while now and they are the best papers I have tried so far. Since they are handmade, the texture is excellent and I have fallen in love with rough papers now. I tried doodling and landscapes on these papers and they worked really well. Especially for landscapes, the drying time was thrice that of a cellulose paper I used, which was very desirable and easy to make corrections and lifting. The drying was very even and beautiful and it is quite easy to correct any cauliflower effect formation also. They absorb color really well and these papers are must haves for any artist looking for really good quality economical supplies. The best thing about these papers, they easily withstand 4-5 washes of watercolors inspite of being 270 gsm paper.
There seems to be no artificial whitening done to this paper, so it tends to be a little dull compared to other papers, but that does not affect our painting quality in any way. Also, the paper tends to warp a little when wet, but gets back to shape when dry, so it is not really a concern in my opinion. I have heard that this is common with handmade papers.
There is one point to be noted, these are handmade papers and they are not sized well, so using masking fluid on these is not possible at all.

I purchased these watercolor sheets to create watercolor bookmarks and I’m amazed by their quality. The sheets are beautifully textured and they hold tons of water for a long time that allow for great color mixing. The colors look vibrant after drying and there is no buckling even after 4-5 layers of colors. I’ve also used them for salt technique and I’m impressed that they didn’t wrinkle even after exposure to heat. At this price, this product is very affordable and great both for beginners and professionals.
