Goauche Colors Workshop – 26th March 2023

In this workshop, I am going to show you Step by Step how to paint a backlit tree in a magical/sunlit forest. Painting scenes like this seems tricky sometimes but it's a great edition to one's artistic skills.

I will show you how you can paint directly on your paper without sketching first and we are going to break down a complex piece into various simple steps and paint this impressionistic forest scene.

Workshop Date and Duration: 26th March 2023, 2pm to 4pm (2 hours duration, includes buffering time)

Art Material: Gouache paints (poster colours would also work), Brushes: no6 & 2 flat, no10 7 no5 angular brush, no3 round brush and 10/0 detailing brush, synthetic brushes would be best suited (you don't need exact same brushes, they can be improvised), mixing palette, water containers, masking tape, 250gsm or higher watercolour or mixed media paper, cotton rag and, or tissue paper and a surface to tape down your paper for eg. table, drawing board etc and a hair dryer.

Level of experience required for the activity: Beginner to medium level, if you are familiar with the very basics of painting with gouache then this class is for you.
